Introducing

Neoteric Ensemble

Inspire

Neoteric Ensemble is one of the UK’s leading brass and saxophone chamber groups, made up of internationally acclaimed performers dedicated to artistic excellence and creative innovation. Alongside our concert work, we are passionate about education and inspiring young musicians through “Neoteric Inspire” — our dedicated outreach and education programme.

Our mission is to bring the excitement, inspiration, and creativity of chamber music directly into schools and enriching students’ learning whilst supporting teachers in making links to the KS3, GCSE, and A-Level music curriculum.

About “Inspire”

Neoteric Inspire offers high-quality, interactive workshops and coaching sessions designed to:

• Develop students’ ensemble performance skills and musical awareness

• Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence

• Support composition, arranging, and scoring skills aligned with GCSE and A-Level requirements

• Deepen understanding of instrumental writing and orchestration through direct interaction with professional players

• Provide insight into career pathways within music and the creative industries

Each session will be delivered by two or three members of Neoteric Ensemble, all experienced performers and educators who regularly teach and coach at leading UK conservatoires and music institutions.

Our group is deeply committed to both performance and education, and we are passionate about sharing our expertise with the next generation. We aim to inspire and engage students by offering a masterclass which explores various aspects of the music, including:

  • Approaching chamber music

  • Navigating the music industry

  • Performance techniques and guidance

  • Developing individual technique/musicality on instruments

  • Creating new compositions and works

  • Effective communication within music

Our ensemble features accomplished musicians, including professors from leading music conservatories and experienced educators with extensive backgrounds in secondary school music teaching.

We offer a range of tailored workshops designed to meet the unique needs of your students, and we would be happy to collaborate with you to create a program that aligns with your school’s needs. More details on our workshop options are provided below.

We can also link our project to current A level or GCSE criteria as all our music can be arranged specially for each project.
